    Equine Wellness Group's founder, Katja Auer, holds a Masters Degree in Science, a Masters Degree in Business Administration, is a Tallgrass Acupressure Institute Equine Practitioner, is Certified in Equine Massage and practices Reiki. During her studies at the University of Arizona, she completed graduate level class work in animal anatomy, physiology, equine nutrition, chemistry and microbiology. 

    She began riding horses in Germany as a young child and was hooked on horses and riding ever since. She earned her German FN Bronze Certifications in Riding and Carriage Driving.     Mike has always had a love for nature and all animals. This love became a 30 year career trying to preserve CA's wildlife as a biologist for the CA. Dept. of Fish & Game. When Mike & his wife acquired their first standard poodle, Chai, he began his journey into dog sports and they, compete at the "excellent" level in AKC agility trials. Mike's Tallgrass acupressure training began in 2010 and he completed in August, 2011.

    During his case studies most animals experienced benefits from just one session. He had remarkable success helping one canine client with hip dysplasia and was fortunate to work with an owner who had several older rescue dogs. Mike is helping small animals throughout southern California.

    As a result of working in the surgical field with humans, Tracey knew her true passion was to work with animals. In 2008 she opened a small pet sitting company and never looked back. Noticing that many of her canine clients were seniors and wanting to help with the common aging ailments, Tracey took a canine massage course and became certified in 2011. As a student of martial arts and yoga, Kalin's interest in Eastern medicine has developed over more than 25 years, leading her to combine her passions and become an Equine Acupressure Practitioner. She began practitioner training in 2012 and holds her certificate from Tallgrass. 

    Her services are intended to help horses heal themselves along with proper holistic veterinary care. She continues her studies attending workshops on TCM and equine health. Furthermore, she often includes the use of Photonic Red Light Therapy to the point work for added positive effects on cellular energy and metabolic processes.
